The More Mustangs the Merrier?

Ford
The Detroit Auto Show always brings surprises, and this year Ford unveiled two new Mustangs that couldn’t be more different. One’s a street-legal track monster, and the other’s a lightweight turbocharged corner carver.
The Mustang GTD Spirit of America is Ford’s tribute to American motorsport. It’s powered by a supercharged V8 making over 800 horsepower, packed with carbon fiber, and built to blur the line between track car and road car. With only 300 planned, this Mustang is as rare as it is loud.
Then there’s the EcoBoost RTR, designed with drift king Vaughn Gittin Jr. It’s all about agility, tuned suspension, and playful power from a turbo four-cylinder. It’s not about raw muscle—it’s about precision and balance, with a touch of RTR’s signature style.
Whether you love big V8s or turbocharged thrills, these Mustangs are pushing performance in very different directions. Would you go for either of these?

Scout is Back - Eventually

Scout Motors
Few names spark as much nostalgia in the off-road community as Scout. Originally a product of International Harvester, the Scout was a rugged, no-nonsense SUV that helped define 4x4 culture in the 1960s and ’70s. Now, after decades in the automotive archives, the Scout name is back with a modern twist—this time, as a standalone brand focused on all-electric adventure vehicles under the Volkswagen Group.
Scout Motors recently confirmed that reservations for its first two EVs—the Scout SUV and Scout Truck—will open in early 2025. Production is slated for late 2026 at a dedicated facility in South Carolina. If you’ve been waiting for an electric vehicle with true off-road chops and retro-cool styling, this is one to watch.
Here’s what you need to know about the rebirth of Scout, from design philosophy to the unique way they’ll be sold:
