Welcome

Congratulations, to Chevy for topping the leaderboards so far in the longest range out of an electric vehicle - achieving 1,059.2 miles out of their 2026 Chevy Silverado EV. That’s more that twice than their EPA estimated range of 493 miles.

The previous record-holder was the Lucid Air with a measly 749-miles.

How’d they do it? By maintaining a speed of 20-25 miles per hour whenever possible. Proving slow and steady will win the race.

Ford’s $30K Electric Pickup Aims to Be the Model T of EVs

Ford

In a surprise reveal at its Louisville, Kentucky plant, Ford pulled off what CEO Jim Farley dubbed a modern “Model T moment.” The automaker confirmed plans for a midsize, four-door electric pickup starting at roughly $30,000, with production slated to begin in 2027.

At the heart of this bold move is Ford’s all-new Universal EV Platform and Production System. Expect 20% fewer parts, 25% fewer fasteners, and a wiring harness that’s 4,000 feet shorter—plus faster, more streamlined assembly through zonal architecture and unicasting.

Despite its low price tag, this truck won’t skimp on features. Built on a low-center-of-gravity platform using LFP prismatic batteries, it promises RAV4-level interior space, a frunk, a lockable bed, and performance that rivals a Mustang EcoBoost.

This pickup is just the beginning. Ford’s “skunkworks” team—headlined by former Tesla engineer Alan Clarke—is assembling an entire family of affordable, software-defined EVs across multiple body styles. Ford posits these will offer lower five-year ownership costs than a used Tesla Model Y.

Selfishly, I chose this Targa 4 GTS because it is my favorite trim of the 911 and hope to get one when I’m old and retired. Would it be as loud as this baby blue and red spec? Probably not, but I admire it. Contact Dealer→

Learn from this investor’s $100m mistake

In 2010, a Grammy-winning artist passed on investing $200K in an emerging real estate disruptor. That stake could be worth $100+ million today.

One year later, another real estate disruptor, Zillow, went public. This time, everyday investors had regrets, missing pre-IPO gains.

Now, a new real estate innovator, Pacaso – founded by a former Zillow exec – is disrupting a $1.3T market. And unlike the others, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.

Pacaso’s co-ownership model has generated $1B+ in luxury home sales and service fees, earned $110M+ in gross profits to date, and received backing from the same VCs behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
